Who is responsible for your data

What we collect and why

To fulfil your order (contract): your name, email, delivery address, phone number, order contents and payment references. Card details are handled by our payment providers and never reach our servers.

To send a basket reminder (only if you ticked the box at checkout): your email and a link to restore your basket. You can stop these any time at the unsubscribe page or the link in every email.

Analytics (only with your consent): if you allow it, we may use PostHog to understand how the site is used. With your consent we record page routes (not full web addresses), a fixed set of shop actions such as viewing a product or starting checkout, performance measurements, a one-time accessibility-preferences signal, and error digests. Automatic click capture, error stack reports and advertising-campaign parameters are switched off, and order events recorded by our servers stay consent-gated. Nothing is collected until you accept in the consent banner, and you can change your mind any time.

Session recording: not used. We don't make recordings of your visits to this site.

Who we share it with

Only the processors needed to run the store: our commerce platform, payment providers, email delivery and (with consent) an analytics provider. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as tax and consumer law requires. Abandoned-basket reminders are only sent within the life of the basket link (90 days maximum) and only if you opted in.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, delete or export your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@sonoras.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
